I am always online shopping. Whether I am actually shopping to purchase or shopping to inspire, I love seeing what’s new in the home decor world. Especially now that we have a new home to outfit with light fixtures, some furniture and lots of textiles. I may not be able to buy everything, but I can certainly collect things on the blog that inspire me. Things that I wish I could have or aspire to have or just to look at and admire. This week I’ve been captivated by blue velvets, amber glass and a little holiday organization help. Check out my five weekend weaknesses below!
Honest Truth: I use links and images on my blog that may lead to me earning a commission at no extra cost to you. It’s what keeps the Space + Habit lights on! Please know that all product selections, comments and reviews are 100% my own and 100% genuine.
I’ve been doing a lot of shopping around for couches to fit a few of the new sitting areas in our Arizona home. I have scrolled by this one time and time again – something about those modern lines and that vibrant blue velvet just get me!
Yes! My favorites can be totally practical too. This year I decided to get my Christmas decor storage under control. The move has kept me motivated to store things carefully and store things well. I bought something similar to this little gem to keep our ornaments in and it has worked wonders. No more boxes that comes in goodness knows which shapes to have to worry about storing.
Everything But The House | Up For Bid!
If you haven’t checked out Everything But The House yet – you NEED to! This has been my latest home decor addiction and I have already purchased two things from them. They basically take estates and sell all of the items in the houses. Take a gander but, be warned, it is addictive and dangerous! This particular lamp is so beautiful but they cannot ship this one. If you live in Ohio, you’re in luck!
Again, perusing the internet world for some patio furniture to add to our new outdoor areas in Arizona. This one is a showstopper. It’s simple, natural looking and (from what I can tell) pretty comfortable. At under $300 I don’t think you could go wrong with this addition to your outdoor retreat.
Another light up wonder – I have never seen a ceramic mid century modern pendant like this and especially not one in such a beautiful blue. I bet this makes some pretty wonderful shadows in a dark room or patio.
